With your black yarn, chain (CH) 2.
ROW 1: Hook in 2 Single Crochets (SC) in the second CH from the hook, joining your yellow yarn into the last stitch. Turn your work. (2)
ROW 2: Hook in 2 SCs or Single Crochet Increase (SC INC) in every stitch in the row, joining your black yarn into the last stitch. Turn your work. (4)
ROW 3: SC in every stitch in the row, joining your yellow yarn in the last stitch. Turn your work. (4)
ROW 4: Single Crochet 2 Together (SC2TOG) two times. Join your black yarn in the last stitch. Turn your work. (2)
ROW 5: CH 1, SC in the chain-3 space.
To lengthen your Bee Chain: CH 4 and repeat Rows 1 to 5 for the bee pattern.
