Koya is a character from the BT21 universe, created by LINE Friends in collaboration with the South Korean boy band BTS. Created by BTS member, RM, Koya is a lovable, blue koala bear with sleepy eyes and a gentle smile. Let’s create this cute amigurumi!

CREATING THE HEAD

Using your light blue yarn and 4 mm crochet hook, create a Slip Knot and Chain (CH) 5.

ROUND 1: 3 Single Crochet Increase (3 SC INC) in the second chain from the hook, Single Crochet (SC) in the next 2 stitches, 3 SC INC in the next stitch, SC in the next 2 stitches. Total Stitches: 10

ROUND 3: * SC in the next 2 stitches, SC INC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 times. Total Stitches: 20

Flatten the head and insert the safety eyes between Round 13 and Round 14, spaced 7 stitches apart. Insert fiberfill into the head until firm.
