MATERIALS

MEDIUM WEIGHT / WORSTED WEIGHT COTTON BLEND YARN

COLOURS: YELLOW + BROWN

5 MM CROCHET HOOK

DARNING NEEDLE

SCISSORS


YARN A: BROWN; YARN B: YELLOW

With your brown yarn and 5 MM crochet hook, create a Magic Ring (MR).

ROUND 1: Chain (CH) 3 (counts as a stitch), hook in 7 Extend Single Crochet (ESC) stitches inside the MR. Pull the ring close. Total Stitches: 8

** To create your Extended Single Crochet: Insert your hook into the designated stitch and pull up a loop, Yarn Over (YO) and pull through one loop, YO and pull through the last 2 loops on your hook.

ROUND 2: CH 3, ESC in the same stitch, * Extended Single Crochet Increase (ESC INC) in the next 7 stitches. Total Stitches: 16

ROUND 3: * CH 3 (counts as a stitch), ESC INC in the next stitch, Repeat * 8 times, joining Yarn B in the last stitch. Total Stitches: 24

CREATING THE PETALS

*CH 5, Treble Crochet Two Together (TR2TOG), 2 CH Picot, CH 5, SL ST in the same stitch, SL ST in the next 2 stitches, repeat * 10 times.

Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
