
CROCHET WARDROBE PART 1
CROCHET PATTERN
Let’s get Hipster Bunny ready to hop about with his collection of crochet wardrobe and accessories. Part 1 contains the patterns for his vest, trousers, suspenders and bold tie.
MATERIALS
- 8 PLY / DK YARN (ANY COLOUR)
- 3 MM CROCHET HOOK
- DARNING NEEDLE
- SCISSORS
- BUTTON
- ELASTIC
HIPSTER BUNNY | VEST
With your 3 mm crochet hook and colored yarn, begin by creating a slip knot and chaining 36 (Photo 1).
1. Single crochet (SC) in the first chain and in every chain (Photo 2). Turn your work. Total stitches: 35
2. SC in the first stitch and in every stitch in the row (Photo 3). Turn your work.
3. Single crochet two together (SC2TOG), SC in the next 31 stitches, SC2TOG. Turn your work. Total stitches: 33



4. SC2TOG, SC in the next 29 stitches, SC2TOG. Turn your work. Total stitches: 31.
5. SC2TOG, SC in the next 27 stitches (Photo 5), SC2TOG. Turn your work. Total stitches: 29


6. SC2TOG, SC in the next 25 stitches, SC2TOG. Turn your work. Total stitches: 27
7. SC2TOG, SC in the next 3 stitches. Turn your work. Total stitches: 4
8. SC in the next 2 stitches, SC2TOG. Turn your work. Total stitches: 3



9. SC2TOG, SC in the next stitch (Photo 6). Turn your work. Total stitches: 2
10. SC2TOG in the last 2 stitches. Turn your work. Leave a tail long enough for sewing.
With the wrong side of the fabric facing up, count 5 stitches towards the middle and join your yarn on the 5th stitch (Photo 7).


1. Chain 1, SC in the next 3 stitches, SC2TOG, turn your work. Total stitches: 4
2. SC2TOG, SC in the next 2 stitches (Photo 9). Turn your work. Total stitches: 3
3. SC in the next stitch, SC2TOG. Turn your work. Total stitches: 2
4. SC2TOG in the last 2 stitches. Fasten off and leave a tail long enough for sewing.
Let’s now begin to work on the back part of the vest. With the right side facing up, skip 2 stitches from the end of the top of the vest.
1. Join your yarn and chain 1, SC in the next 12 stitches, turn your work. Total stitches: 12
2. Hook in 2 SCs in the first stitch, SC in the next 10 stitches, 2 SC in the last stitch. Total stitches: 14
3. SC2TOG and fasten off.
Face the right sides of the vest together and sew the top portion of the vest into place (Photo 11).


Weave the yarn tail into the other end of the back part of the vest, leaving two stitches untouched.
Pull up a loop, chain 1, SC2TOG in the last two stitches.
Position the right sides of the vest and sew together (Photo 12). Weave in any loose ends. Sew the button into place.
