PUTTING IT TOGETHER
Take the Lip and the Column and join the bottom rows together, with the right sides facing each other and sew into place using your Green yarn (Photo 16).
Cut 2 pieces of the Floral Craft Rod or Bamboo Skewer, measuring 2 1/2 inches long. When using bamboo skewers, cut the pointy ends off with a scissor.
Wrap the tip of the uncut floral craft rod or bamboo skewer with Green yarn, working your way an inch down the stem. Secure the end of the yarn with a drop of hot glue. Cut off excess yarn.
Insert the tip of the wrapped floral craft rod or bamboo skewer onto the center of the now joined Lip and Column portion of the flower, and secure into place with hot glue.
Take the Lateral Petals and position onto the sides of the Lip and Column, securing it into place with hot glue. Take an excess yarn from one of the Petals and wrap around the floral craft rod or bamboo skewer, yarn and wire, several times, securing the end with hot glue. Cut off any excess yarn and wire.

Attach the 2 Lateral Sepals right below the column of the flower and the 2 petals. Secure into place with hot glue. Wrap the yarn, wire and floral craft rod or bamboo skewer with one of the excess yarn from the petals, several times, securing the end with hot glue. Cut off any excess yarn and wire.
Take the Dorsal Sepal and position it above the Lip portion of the flower, in between the petals (Photo 17), and secure it into place with hot glue and wrap the excess yarn around the wire and floral craft rod or bamboo skewer several times, securing the end with a drop of hot glue. Cut off excess yarn and wire.
Attach the Bud onto the tip of the cut floral craft rod or bamboo skewer with hot glue. Wrap the excess yarn around the floral craft rod or bamboo skewer. Glue the end of the yarn into place. Repeat this for the other bud. Slightly bend the stem of the buds and set aside.
Wrap Green yarn around the bottom part of the petals and sepals of the main flower several times. Continue wrapping the yarn 4 inches down the floral craft rod or bamboo skewer, secure the end with hot glue, cutting off excess yarn.

Attach the Bud onto the side of the main stem with hot glue. Wrap Green yarn around the bud’s stem and main flower’s stem, working your way 4 inches down the floral craft rod or bamboo skewer (Photo 18). Attach the other bud onto the other side of the main stem, wrapping Green yarn 4 inches down the floral craft rod or bamboo skewer. Cut off any excess yarn and remove excess glue.
