Made of double crochet stitches, the Zigzag Rows is an attractive crochet pattern that produces a breathable and soft fabric for your projects.


FOUNDATION CHAIN: ANY ODD NUMBER OF CHAINS + 3

Begin with a Slip Knot and Chain ( CH ) 24.

ROW 1: Double Crochet ( DC ) in the 4th CH from the hook and in the next 20 CHS (Photo 1). Turn your work. Total Stitches: 22

ROW 2: CH 3, * Modified Double Crochet Two Together ( MDC2TOG ), CH 1. Repeat * 9 times. DC into the last stitch. Turn your work.

MODIFIED DOUBLE CROCHET TWO TOGETHER (MDC2TOG)

Insert the first leg of your DC2TOG into the first stitch (PHOTO 3), skip the next stitch, complete the modified DC2TOG by inserting the next leg of the DC2TOG into the next stitch (PHOTO 4).

ROW 3: CH 3, DC in every stitch in the row. Turn your work.

ROW 4: CH 3, * Modified Double Crochet Two Together ( MDC2TOG ), CH 1. Repeat * 9 times. DC into the last stitch. Turn your work.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for the pattern.
