CREATING THE SLEEVES
Using your 6 MM crochet hook, join your yarn into the bottom of the armhole.
ROUND 1: CH 2, SC in the same ST, LS on the same ST and next CH-1 space. * CH 1, LS over the next ST and next CH-1 space, repeat * 18, 18, 20, 20, 22, 24 times until the last 2 stitches. LS in the same ST and next ST, CH 1, SC in the top of the turning chain. SS in the next ST to join. Total Stitches: 22, 22, 24, 24, 26, 28
ROUND 2: CH 2, LS in the first ST and next CH-1 space. The pattern repeat is: CH 1, LS in the next stitch and next CH-1 space in every stitch in the round. CH 1 and SS in the top of the turning chain. Total stitches: 22, 22, 24, 24, 26, 28
ROUND 3: CH 2, SC in the same ST, LS on the same ST and next CH-1 space. * CH 1, LS over the next ST and next CH-1 space, repeat * 20, 20, 22, 22, 24, 26 times until the last 2 stitches. ROUND 7: CH 2, SC in the same ST, LS on the same ST and next CH-1 space. * CH 1, LS over the next ST and next CH-1 space, repeat * 24, 24, 26, 26, 28, 30 times until the last 2 stitches. LS in the same ST and next ST, CH 1, SC in the top of the turning chain. SS in the next ST to join. Total Stitches: 28, 28, 32, 32, 34, 36
ROUND 8 TO ROUND (21, 21, 22, 22, 23, 23): CH 2, LS in the first ST and next CH-1 space. The pattern repeat is: CH 1, LS in the next stitch and next CH-1 space in every stitch in the round. CH 1 and SS in the top of the turning chain. Total stitches: 28, 28, 32, 32, 34, 36
If you want longer sleeves, you can add more rounds in this part.
Finishing the sleeve: CH 1, SL ST in every ST in the round. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends. Repeat for the other sleeve.
CREATING THE BOTTOM RIBBING
Join your yarn into the bottom part of the top and CH 9.
ROUND 1: SC in the 2nd CH from the hook and in the next 7 CHs. SL ST in the next 2 stitches of your crochet top. Turn your work.
ROUND 2: CH 1, SCBLO of every stitch in the row. Turn your work.
ROUND 3: CH 1, SCBLO of every stitch in the row. SL ST in the next 2 stitches of your project. Turn your work. Continue working Rows 2 and 3 until you reach the other end.
Join both ends of the ribbing together and SL ST in the front loops of both edges to join. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
