
Toothless Toilet Paper Cover
CROCHET PATTERN
Do you remember the funny and lovable Toothless, the Night Fury Dragon from the animated film, How to Train your Dragon? Disguise and protect your toilet paper with this easy crochet project!
MATERIALS
- MEDIUM WEIGHT YARN (BLACK)
- 5 MM CROCHET HOOK
- STITCH MARKERS
- DARNING NEEDLE
- SCISSORS
1. With your 5 mm hook and black yarn, begin by creating a Magic Ring (MR). Hook in 6 single crochets (SC) inside the MR and pull the ring close.

2. Hook in 2 SC in every stitch in the round. Total stitches: 12

3. * SC in the next stitch, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 4 more times. Total stitches: 18

4. * SC in the next 2 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 more times. Total stitches: 24

5. * SC in the next 3 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 more times. Total stitches: 30

6. * SC in the next 4 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 more times. Total stitches: 36
7. * SC in the next 5 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 more times. Total stitches: 42
8. * SC in the next 6 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 more times. Total stitches: 48
9. * SC in the next 7 stitches, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 more times. Total stitches: 54

Rounds 10 to 26: SC in every stitch in the round.

27. Slip stitch in every stitch in the round. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
If you want a longer tissue holder, simply add 1 to 2 rounds of single crochets before proceeding to the next round.

Let’s begin creating the smaller ear like appendage.
1. With your black yarn, create a MR and hook in 4 SC inside the MR.
2. Hook in 2 SC in every stitch in the round. Total stitches: 8
3 to 4. SC in every stitch in the round. Slip stitch in the next stitch. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.

1. Begin by creating a MR and hook in 4 SC inside the MR.
2. Hook in 2 SC in every stitch in the round. Total stitches: 8
3. *SC in the next stitch, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 3 more times. Total stitches: 12
4 to 6. SC in every stitch in the round. Slip stitch in the next stitch. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.

Position and sew the ear like appendage between rounds 8 and 9. Space them 6 stitches apart.

Position the ears between the same rounds spaced 4 stitches apart. sew into place. Weave in any loose ends.
