To begin create a slip knot and chain 37.

Double crochet ( DC ) in the fourth chain from the hook, * chain 4, skip the next 4 chains, DC in the next chain, chain 4, skip the next 4 chains

2. Chain 3, skip the first DC, DC in the next stitch, * chain 3, 7 DC in the next stitch.

3. Chain 3, DC in the next DC, * chain 2, DC in the next 3 stitches,

2 DC in the next stitch, DC in the next 3 stitches. Repeat from * across the entire row, ending with chain 2, DC in the next DC, DC in the top of the TCH. Turn your work.

4. Chain 3, DC in the next DC, * chain 2, double crochet three together ( DC3TOG ) over the next 3 DC’s, chain 3.

Starting at the same stitch as the last leg of the DC3TOG, work the following: DC2TOG over the next 4 stitches,

chain 3. Work DC3TOG over the next 3 DC’s. Repeat from * across the row. With the remaining 2 stitches in the row, chain 2, DC in the next DC, DC on the top of the TCH. Turn your work.

Yarn over ( YO ), insert hook in the next stitch, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops, repeat 2 more times, YO and draw through all four loops on your hook.

DC2TOG

Yarn over ( YO ), insert hook in the next stitch, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops, repeat 1 more time, YO and draw through all three loops on your hook.

5. Chain 3, DC in the next DC, * DC in the next DC3TOG chain, chain 4, DC in the next DC2TOG, chain 4, DC in the next stitch. Repeat from * across the entire row. DC in the last 2 stitches. Turn your work.

6. Chain 3, DC in the next DC, skip the next stitch, * chain 3, 7 DC in the next DC,

skip the next 2 DC’s. Repeat from * across the entire row, ending with chain 3, 7 DC in the next DC, chain 3, skip the next stitch, DC in the remaining 2 stitches. Turn your work.

Repeat rows 3 to 6 for the pattern.
