This famous line from the poem, ‘Twas the night before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore, as St. Nick hustles to deliver presents before Christmas Day.
Create this reindeer crochet motif to add to your Festive Christmas Bunting and other projects.

MATERIALS
- 8 PLY/DK COTTON YARN
- COLORS: RUST, BROWN AND RED
- 4 MM CROCHET HOOK
- DARNING NEEDLE
- SCISSORS
With your rust colored yarn, begin by creating a Magic Ring (MR), CH 1.
ROUND 1
CH 1, and hook in 5 single crochets ( SC ) inside the MR. Slip stitch (SS) in the beginning chain (CH)to join. —–[5]
ROUND 2
CH 1, 2 SC (INC) in every stitch in the round. SS in the beginning CH to join. —-[10]
ROUND 3
CH 1, * SC in the next stitch, INC in the next stitch. Repeat * 5 times. SS in the beginning CH to join. —–[15]

Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
ANTLERS
Join your brown yarn in any stitch in the round.
CH 3, SS in the 2nd CH from the hook and in the next CH. CH 5, SS in the 2nd CH from the hook and into the next CH, CH 3, SS in the 2nd CH from the hook and in the next 4 CHS, CH 3, SS in the 2nd CH from the hook and in the next CH. SS in the same stitch.



SS in the next 4 stitches.
Repeat the pattern for the reindeer antlers. Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
NOSE

With your red yarn create a MR. CH 1, SC, 2 Double Crochet (DC), inside the MR. Position and sew the nose into the center of the circle, weave in any loose ends.
