FOUNDATION CHAIN: MULTIPLE OF 2 + 1
Begin with a slip knot and CH 15.
ROW 1
2 Single Crochets ( SC ) in the third CH from the hook, * skip 1 CH, 2 SC in the next CH. Repeat from * until the end of the CH. Turn your work.

ROW 2
CH 2, 2 SC in the next stitch, * skip the next stitch, 2 SC in the next stitch. Repeat from * to the end of the row. Turn your work.

ROW 3
Repeat Step 2 until you have reached the necessary amount of rows needed for your project.

The alternate crochet stitch creates a slightly open fabric with good drape. It also creates an interesting texture to your project.
