BELL CROWN AND CLAPPER
With your 4 MM crochet hook, create a MR and CH 1.
ROUND 1
Hook in 6 SC inside the MR. —–[6]
ROUND 2 TO 3
CH 1, SC INC in every stitch in the round. —–[12]
ROUND 4
CH 1, * single crochet two together (SC2TOG) or decrease (DEC), SC in the next stitch. Repeat * 4 times. DEC, SS in the beginning CH to join. —–[9]
ROUND 5
CH 1, DEC 4 times. SC in the next stitch. SS in the beginning CH to join. —–[5]
CH 25, SS in the 10th CH from the hook and in the next 16 CHS. Fasten off leaving a 5 inch tail for sewing.
PUTTING IT TOGETHER
Insert the clapper into the inner portion of the bell and pull through the top. Position the clapper until the desired length is achieved. Sew and secure the clapper into place. Weave in any loose ends.
