CREATING THE LEGS (2)
With your green yarn and 4mm crochet hook, CH 6, SL ST in the beginning CH to join.
ROUND 1: SC in every stitch in the round.
ROUND 2: SC INC in every stitch in the round. Total Stitches: 12
ROUND 3 TO ROUND 4: SC in every stitch in the round.
Press the legs together and SL ST in the next stitch and in the previous stitch, CH 3, the pattern repeat is * SL ST in the next stitch and in the aligned stitch, CH 3, rep * 4 more times. SL ST in the next stitch, fasten off and leave a tail long enough for sewing.
Create one more leg, position on the bottom of the body and sew into place. Weave in any loose ends.
CREATING THE EYES (2)
Using your white yarn and 4 mm crochet hook, create a MR.
ROUND 1: Hook in 4 SCs inside the MR. Pull the ring close. Total Stitches: 4
ROUND 2: SC INC in every stitch in the round, joining your green yarn in the last stitch. Total Stitches: 8
ROUND 3 TO ROUND 5: SC in every stitch in the round. SL ST in the first stitch to join. Fasten off and leave a 6 inch tail for sewing.
Using your gray yarn, sew horizontal lines into the center of the eyeball. You can add a little fiberfill in the eyes before sewing them closed. Center and sew the eyes between rounds 3 and 4 and space them 4 stitches apart. Sew into place.
