MATERIALS
8 PLY / DK COTTON YARN
COLORS: ANY 2 COLORS
4 MM CROCHET HOOK
DARNING NEEDLE
SCISSORS
VIOLET YARN (YARN A); GREY YARN (YARN B)
Begin by creating a Magic Ring (MR) and chain (CH) 4.
ROW 1: *Double Crochet (DC) inside the MR, CH 1. Repeat * 7 times. Pull the ring close, Slip Stitch (SL ST) in the 3rd CH of the beginning CH to join (Photo 1). Total Stitches: 8
ROW 2: CH 3, hook in 2 DCs in the same stitch. * 3 DC in the next CH-1 space , CH 3, 3 DC in the next CH-1 space. Repeat * 2 times (Photo 2). 3 DC in the next Ch-1 space, CH 3, SL ST in the top of the beginning CH to join using Yarn B. Total Stitches: 24
ROW 3: Yarn B: CH 3, Double Crochet Two Together (DC2TOG), CH 3, Double Crochet Three Together (DC3TOG), CH 3. *DC3TOG in the next CH-3 space, CH 3, DC3TOG in the same CH-3 space. **CH 3, DC3TOG (Photo 3), CH 3, repeat ** one more time. Repeat * 3 times. SL ST in the top of the beginning CH with YARN A to join. Total Stitches: 16
DC3TOG: *Insert your hook into the next stitch, YO and pull up a loop. Repeat * 2 more times. YO and pull through all the loops in your hook.



ROW 4: Yarn A: SL ST in the next stitch and in the next CH-3 space, CH 3. 2 DC in the same CH-3 space, CH 1, 3 DC in the next CH-3 space, CH 1. *3 DC in the next CH-3 space, CH 3, 3 DC in the same CH-3 space, CH 1 ***3 DC in the next CH-3 space (Photo 3), CH 1, repeat ** 2 times. Repeat * 2 times. 3 DC in the next CH-3 space, CH 3, 3 DC in the same CH-3 space, CH 1, 3 DC in the next CH-3 space, CH 1, SL ST in the top of the beginning CH to join. Total Stitches: 60
