These severed fingers look creepy and would make a terrifying halloween prop! The fingers are made of sausages which makes this prop look so realistic. This plate of severed fingers was also used in the Fly Amigurumi teaser video, which you can view below.
Skewer / Bamboo sticks
1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 cups water
Quick and Easy 30 minutes.
Pre cooked Severed Fingers
- Prepare the Sausages
Slice the sausages into different finger lengths and set aside.
- Blanch the Sausages
Boil 2 cups of water and a tablespoon of Soy Sauce. Add your sausages into the boiling water and leave for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the sausages and leave it to drain and cool.
- Creating Indentations
Bend your sausages to make them more pliable. This also gives a natural curve to your sausage, and with your skewer or stick, add lines to where the finger folds naturally. Turn the fingers over and create an indentation for the nail bed.
- Adding the Nail
Peel off a thin layer of garlic skin and cut into shape. Insert into the indentation created.
Dip the the cut ends of the sausage into the ketchup. And add a little splatter of ketchup for a bloody effect.
This prop is best suited outdoor, in a pot of soil or in a bottled glass and out of reach of children.
